The snow leopard uses its thick, furry tail to aid in balancing, much the same way that humans stretch their arms out for balance when they walk across a stream on a log, for example! This guy does look like he’s putting on a balancing act, although if he fell it wouldn’t be too far at all :P

Why hello there, little kitty! By the end of the summer, cubs venture out of the protective den where they were born to test out their balance as they begin to follow their mother when she hunts. He looks pretty balanced to me! But maybe it’s just because he’s still resting :P
